Michael Law

Michael Law is the Investment Operations and Portfolio Analytics Manager with the San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association (SBCERA).  As a member of the investment team, Mr. Law is responsible for providing analytical and technical support for the investment team in the area of portfolio analytics, performance measurement, investment reporting, investment operations, and other special projects.

Prior to joining SBCERA in 2024, Mr. Law was Vice President of Investment Analytics at State Street where he oversaw performance reporting and client servicing for institutional clients.  Before State Street, he worked as Vice President at asset management firm TCW, where he focused on fixed income performance and attribution reporting.  His additional responsibilities also included reviewing and building operational efficiencies for his department.  He began his career as a performance analyst at State Street, before joining TCW. Mr. Law earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.  He also holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement™ designation.
