SBCERA’s Communication Efforts Receive Statewide Honors

We are honored to have received statewide recognition for our commitment to effective communications, one of our strategic pillars, by the California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO).

The CAPIO EPIC Awards program recognizes the most creative and effective efforts in the areas of communication. SBCERA took home the Award of Distinction for our We Are SBCERA video series. This award is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement.

This series is more than a project. Focusing on the heart of our organization, this campaign features the people who define SBCERA. These videos offer an inside look at the people who provide the important public services our communities depend on, and how the retirement security SBCERA provides gives them confidence in their futures. These stories are full of personal experiences, purpose, the impact of service, and so much more.

Importantly, this campaign serves as a reminder of why we’re here and who we are together.  

We’re proud to serve those who serve San Bernardino communities, and we understand the responsibility we have to effectively communicate with over 50,000 members and 17 employers throughout California.

This recognition reflects that commitment and support our efforts in delivering consistent, clear, and helpful messaging.
