SBCERA Receives Polaris Awards for Exemplary Public Relations Efforts
November 10, 2021
The San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association (SBCERA) is honored to be the recipient of three Polaris Awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Inland Empire Chapter for exemplary public relations efforts in our Strategic Communications Plan, eNewsletter Campaigns “Journey to Retirement” and “Life After Retirement”, and Retirement Consultation Guide.
PRSA-IE’s Polaris Awards recognize exemplary public relations efforts that successfully incorporate sound research, planning, implementation, and evaluation. These awards represent the highest standards of performance in the public relations and communications profession within the Inland Empire.
We’re proud to serve those who serve San Bernardino communities, and we understand the responsibility we have to effectively communicate with over 43,000 members and 16 employers throughout California. These top honors reflect that commitment and support our efforts in delivering consistent, clear, and helpful messaging.
About Our Award-Winning Projects
Our Strategic Communications Plan serves as a guide to define, shape, and communicate the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities—all contributing to a proactive communications strategy to better serve our members and key stakeholders alike.
Our eNewsletter Campaigns “Journey to Retirement” and “Life After Retirement” were designed with our members in mind and include information on latest news, highlights, and educational resources. These serve as focal points to SBCERA communications and support actionable feedback from our 2019 Member Engagement Survey.
Our Retirement Consultation Guide was created to help members clearly understand the retirement process and highlight important information to consider while working towards retirement.
To our members—we will continue our commitment to communicate clearly and transparently with you. Whether you’re just starting your career, already enjoying retirement, or somewhere in between—we’re here for you. We’ll continue to be at your service for many years to come.
